The Connexions service is designed to help everyone aged 13 to
19 make the best start in life.To help you, you have access to a
Personal Adviser. Your school or college has at least one Personal
Adviser, but others are based in:-
- Youth Centres
- Connexions centres
- Youth Offending Teams
- and other support agencies.
Personal Advisers can help you with a whole range of decisions
such as choosing school, college and university courses, training
and careers and on how to develop your skills through activities
such as sport or voluntary work. They can also help with other
issues that are affecting your life ranging from health and finance
to relationships and housing. Personal Advisers have close links
with other professionals so that if they are not directly able to
help you themselves, they can easily put you in touch with someone
who can.
